![]() ![]() There were barely any words on the pages and I finished this book in about 15ish minutes. So once I started reading, I found out it was a picture book type novel but I was like okay it might not be so bad. When I downloaded it from Edelweiss, it didn’t mention it was illustrated so I thought it was a normal YA book. I was super excited for it as I love Medusa and wanted to read a good retelling. Review: So this is a YA Medusa Illustrated novel. Jessie’s first novel for children, The Restless Girls, will be published in September 2018. Her second book, The Muse, set in a dual time-frame, during the Spanish Civil War and 30 years later in 1960s London, was published in 2016.
